Following HTC's earlier confirmations to offer Android 4.0 upgrades for a wide range of Android 2.3/Gingerbread devices, HTC has yesterday further defined via Facebook which devices will receive Ice Cream Sandwich when. The first round of ICS upgrades is going to HTC's Sensation-line of Android phones, which will be rolled-out by the end of March for the HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE, followed soon thereafter for the HTC Sensation XL. Without defining the date, HTC again confirmed that Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades will come later this year to the HTC EVO 3D, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and even the good old HTC Desire HD.
However, not on the list so far are Android 4.0 upgrades for the HTC Flyer, which just received its Honeycomb upgrade, the HTC Cha Cha, as well as the HTC Desire Z which was announced together with the Desire HD and is basically the same device but featuring a slide-out hardware keyboard. Also no word yet which HTC Sense version the upgrade will feature but it shouldn't take to long anymore to get the knowing about this as well.
Cheers ~ Arne
