Today seems to be T-Mobiles Windows Mobile day. After the official announcements of the MDA III, the SDA and the SDA Music, T-Mobile revealed another device as well: the T-Mobile MDA compact which is based on HTC's Margician Pocket PC Phone Edition.
The MDA compact - which is the same device as the previously announced i-mate JAM - is the smaller and lighter brother of the current MDA II and like its bigger brother it comes without W-LAN.
The MDA compact will includes quad-band GSM/GPRS as well as Bluetooth and IrDA but also a 1 Megapixel camera and is 150 gram lighter than the current MDAs which is something around 150 - 160 gram only! 8O
Also it includes 64 MB RAM only and has a lighter CPU - the Intel Bulverde with 312 MHz. To expand storage and wireless functionalities, the MDA compact includes a SDIO compatible SD slot to be used with storage cards or W-LAN cards.
The MDA compact can be expected mid November. With a 24 months cotract it should costs around 99,95 Euro only, without a contract around 489,95 Euro.
Cheers ~ Arne
