Do you remember my preview of the Think Outside Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard driver for Smartphone I wrote about last week? Finally Think Outside made the driver publicly available and you can get if from the support page!
Beside the Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard, also think Outside's IR Wireless is supported and Think Outside supports most of today's Windows Mobile Smartphones which either includes IrDA or Bluetooth!

I've successfully used the Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard with my Motorola MPx220, my i-mate SP3i and a T-Mobile SDA and it works just great!

The Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard is a great addition to my Smartphone and I'm using it quiet often for E-Mail as well as to update PPCW.Net! As said before, the Windows Mobile Smartphone drivers are available free of charge from Think Outside!

Cheers ~ Arne

Is this the one listed under the Moto 220?  If it is sadly it doesn't work on an SPV C500 sad

[1] Have you tried the i-mate SP3 driver instead? However, I'm not sure if it is signed to work with Orange's Smartphones. Smartphones without installation limitations works fine as I've tried myself.

I installed the i-mate SP3i driver they have, and it causes my SP 3i to shut down when it is running. I don't know what's going on, when I disable the driver the phone is ok, when I enable it after a short period of time the phone automatically turns off.

I installed the driver for my SMT5600.   When setting up the keyboard it finds it ok but when it goes to initialization passkey nothing I type on the keyboard is entered into the field and I as a result I cannot get through the setup  :-(

[3] That's weird... Haven't noticed this with my SP3i. Do you have anything else running in the background like Bluetooth ActiveSync?
[4] Try to disable Menu -> Options -> Bluetooth/Secure

Then you are not forced to enter a passkey and it should work. Had the same with the Beta driver I've tested.

I install & use it with HP hx 4700. It's all right, but it's impossible to use BT Wireless Keyboard together with other BT device, for ex. BT keyboard & BT GPS, or MS activesync , or BT phone e.t.c.
In the other way i can join together at the same time at last my 3 devices with PDA - bt dongle, bt gps & bt phone.

[5] This might be specific to the U.S. versions of the SP3i. Another person has posted on your Bluetooth Stowaway review that he is having the same problems.  I am corresponding with Thinkoutside. Right now they think it's a conflict with the Bluetooth headset profile. If so there isn't much that I can do.

[7] I do think this is a problem with the US version of the SP3i.  I have been in contact with imate to hear when they will release a new ROM update.  They said they will have one 'soon' and that it might very well fix this problem.  The US version is  One thing that I might try would be to downgrade the ROM to the more standard on their website.
