DRIVERS: Pocketop Portable Keyboard driver for xda and T-Mobile Phone Edition

I'm just working on my long time promised review of the Pocketop Portable Keyboard and was on their driver page.

Since 15th April, they also have a driver available for the O2 xda and T-Mobile Phone Edition Pocket PCs which is fully compatible and support screen rotation but unfortunately it's not clear for me which one to take as they offer two different kind of Pocket PC 2002 drivers: "PocketPC 2002 **NEW**" and "PocketPC 2002". Both includes some model names but both doesn't list the xda/T-Mobile Phone Edition.

Also I was in contact with them regarding the Smartphone support but didn't got a final answer if or when they will support Microsoft Smartphones like the HTC Canary (Orange SPV) or Tanager (Orange SPVx/Smart Amazing Phone).

However, this shouldn't be that big deal and would be a killer! ;-)

Cheers ~ Arne

Wow, sometimes it's pretty helpful to have a deeper look into websites. I did - at least I though - but one page I've missed: the "support page" http://.../ of Pocketop.

Thanks to Carlos for pointing me there because Pocketop has clearly stated:

PDA driver development

Due to technical issues, we are not able to publish release dates for these drivers.

T-Mobile/O2 XDA - in progress - no ETA

Toshiba e330/e335 - in progress - no ETA

What ever this mean, now we have two different information: driver available/driver not available.

Anyway, I've contacted Pocketop again and mope to see clearer soon![/]

Just got the final information from Pocketop: The O2 xda/T-Mobile Phone Edition isn't supported right now.

However, you can sign-in the mailing list http://.../ to be informed from Pocketop if the drivers are finally released.
