In
the US, Google just recently added Search Options to its Web Search Mobile,
available on Google
Android, Palm webOS
and Apple iPhone
smartphones which allows users to slice and dice mobile search results on
smartphones as available so for for the desktop search only. For example,
suppose you are shopping at a store for a camera, and you would like to see what
users have been saying about a specific model within the past week. You can do
this simply by searching for the name of the product. Then, on the search
results page, use "Options" to filter by "Forums" and refine further by choosing
"Past week".

While the Search Options feature is a great enhancement for Android, webOS
and iPhone users, Symbian and Windows Mobile Windows phone users are left in the
rain at the moment since both platforms, doesn't matter which browser is used,
aren't supported at the moment. Furthermore, at the moment Search Options is
available for the US Google search only, other countries aren't supported yet.
