Will this phone have 850 and 1900 so that it would work on AT&T in the States?

I certainly hope so.

Only 2.5G 850 and 1900 MHz. No 3G 850 and 1900 MHz as mentioned in the article. So it will work with AT&T in the U.S. but not in AT&T's HSDPA network!

Hi Arne,

do you have further details on the following questions:

1) Will o2 offer the HTC Touch HD without any hardware branding from o2? Will it be sold as HTC Touch HD or as XDA Touch HD?
2) Will o2 also have the original ROM from HTC installed on the device or will it be offered with an o2 specific ROM (black screen or blue screen)?
3) Does o2 also install a navigation software on the device? If yes, do you know the software brand?

Thanks very much in advance,

1) No hardware branding. This is the first HTC smartphone O2 Germany will sell under the HTC brand instead of the Xda brand (which doesn't mean the death of the Xda brand but this time, the HTC Touch brand is used).
2) AFAIK it's the original black HTC built but with O2's Homezone support.
3) No navigation software.
