Corp. continues to open itself to the end-user and walking away from "just
being" another Taiwanese ODM for mobile operators and PC brands. Therefore, HTC
yesterday opened its world's first HTC Care Customer Service Center ( "HTC Care"
) in Taipei. The center will provide customers in Taiwan with a comprehensive
range of services including personalized consultations on new and existing HTC
products, fast and efficient warranty repairs, and other valuable after-sales
support. A speedy turn-around time is guaranteed for all service repairs
conducted at HTC Care and customers shall be provided with a temporary
replacement phone free of charge during the repair period.
In addition, a wide assortment of HTC accessories will be available at the center, and
comprehensive product and warranty services will also be offered to Dopod
"HTC believes that providing superior after-sales support is important to
our continuing success, which is why we place such a high degree of
importance on HTC Care. In the future, a number of HTC Care centers will be
launched in Taiwan and overseas, allowing our customers to enjoy their
mobile lifestyles without missing a call, " said Fred Liu, Chief Operating
Officer of HTC.
And if you are in Taipei anytime in the next months, the address for HTC Care
No.116, Sec. 2, Zhongxiao E. Rd., Taipei. (Tel: 02-3322-3866). It is
conveniently located near the Guanghua Bazaar and Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station
(Exit 2: Zhongxiao Park). The service hours are Monday to Friday from 11:00 am
to 7:30 pm.
Now I wonder if HTC plans to open further HTC Care centers in other parts of
the world as well? Maybe in direct neighborhood to Apple stores that potential
customers can compare the Apple iPhone with the HTC Touch first?
Cheers ~ Arne
