Brand new and just released, HTC has today made its first firmware update available for the HTC One X, HTC's latest high-end Android smartphone. While HTC hasn't provided a change-log, we have heard that the 23.85 MB large 1.28 system enhancement pack features a couple of much needed battery improvements as well as enhancements of the device's WiFi and OpenGL environments, is addressing some menu key and brightness issues and also includes a reboot fix. The update is now provided as a free FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update and can be manually kicked-off from the System settings.
As always, HTC recommends that the battery is charged and it's always safe to do a backup prior updating the device.
Cheers ~ Arne
