Adapt Mobile, the first company to introduce Bluetooth GPS based on the new Nemerix chipset in Europe, today announces two new GPS receivers. The Adapt AD-300, the successor of the most popular Adapt 16 channel GPS receiver, and the AD-500, the latest and smallest Nemerix receiver on the market today.

The ADAPT AD-300 is build around the same housing and chipset as the famous Adapt 16 channel Nemerix receiver. It uses a larger capacity Nokia compatible replaceable battery that lasts up to 30 hours.

The ADAPT AD-500 is the first small size Nemerix GPS receiver in the world. While it features a smaller battery it can last up to 23 hours anyway. It also features the new standard mini USB port as used on a lot of new Pocket PC's. There is no need to use a different car charger anymore.

The AD-300 is expected to ship during August at a recommended retail price of Euro 99.95 including VAT. The new AD-500 will be available in Europe from September at a recommended price of Euro 129.95. Both models will include a car charger and an AC adapter.

Cheers ~ Arne
