GUI: Sony Ericsson's Rachael Android UI Demo Leaked

While Rachael (that's the code-name), Sony Ericsson's expected first Google Android smartphone, is yet to be confirmed and announced, a demo video of its UI made it to YouTube already. It seems that Sony Ericsson is currently spending some good time to enhance the (yet pretty basic) Android user interface. While you can see the Android UI as a framework only, companies like HTC (with its recently announced HTC Sense for Android UI) and Sony Ericsson seems to go a step further to allow them to differentiate their devices from the competition as well as to make Android an even better mobile OS. Furthermore it's quite interesting how all the latest OS and GUI developments supports Web 2.0 services like Facebook and Twitter:

It's not yet proved that the UI above is indeed a legit Sony Ericsson Android UI but if it is legit, Sony Ericsson is working on something powerful which hopefully comes to the Windows Mobile Xperia-line of devices as well.

Cheers ~ Arne

I don't see this on the same league as HTC Sense. SE implemented way to much nonsense animation in their UI. This will hurt the day by day usability quite bad. I can't imagine anybody wanting to see all those animations after 2 weeks of usage. There is really no point in displaying all those contact infos and feeds on those 3d cards. i already hated the animations on TF3d on WinMo, because they would just be in your way after a while.

I mean i'm just a regular user and i have about 100 contacts, there is no way i want so slide though all those cards to find a contact.
