Alien6 Technologies, the maker of A6.Times today announced the launch of A6.Shopping for Pocket PC. An application that was created to be the perfect shopping companion in your pocket. With A6.Shopping, the little pieces of paper on which you would write down items to buy are now a thing of the past. Your next visit to the grocery store - or any other store - can now be quickly planned.

A6.Shopping has a very appealing look and a user interface that automatically adapts to your handheld's current Today theme. A6.Shopping is also compatible with Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition and Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PCs.

A6.Shopping is very user friendly: you enter the products you would like to buy and then you use these products to create shopping lists.

Here's a quick list of key features you will find in A6.Shopping:

  • One-Hand Editing: Quickly check items or change quantities and prices using the 5-way navigator
  • Very simple and straightforward to use
  • Sortable lists
  • Background images that clearly identify the selected display
  • Existing shopping lists can be cloned and then edited
  • The number of shopping lists you can create is limited only by the size of your handheld's memory
  • The number of products you can enter is limited only by the size of your handheld's memory

A6.Shopping requires Microsoft's .NET Compact Framework 2.0; ff not already installed, you must install the .NET Compact Framework 2.0 before installing A6.Shopping.

The full version is available for US$ 9.95 but a 14 days trial version is available as well.

Cheers ~ Arne
