Engadget has received information, that the upcoming HTC Tornado will be on sale from T-Mobile USA as well which would be the first Windows Mobile device which makes it from T-Mobile Europe to T-Mobile USA.
However, since the HTC Tornado (which will be called T-Mobile SDA II) is a quad-band device, it will work perfectly in the US.
According to Engadget, the Tornado will be on sale from October:
We've received confirmation from several different sources now that T-Mobile is going to be the first (and possibly only) US carrier to get its hands on the HTC Tornado (aka the Qtek 8310), that new Windows Mobile-powered Smartphone that comes with built-in WiFi and a QVGA display. Better yet, they're aiming for a $200 price point (with a one year contract).
200 US$ sounds reasonable but if it is true it's still pricy. For instance the first SDA Music went on sale for 79,95 Euro only - with a 24 month contract.
