This shows that Scandinavians know more about mobile phone market. A device only sold by network operators reaches just a too small percentage of the potential market. Hopefully MS will understand that some time...

a. to expensive without a subscription
b. no marketing
c. only carriers reaches 100 % of the market.
So going without a carrier might be good for a geek but Joe User will not recognize it. Because this, Microsoft's approach is the right one - I think...
