LEAK: HTC's expected Q1/Q2 2010 Android Roadmap hits the Web

Looks like someone at the Xda-Developers forum got his hands on a roadmap, which is said to be HTC's Android roadmap for the 1st half of 2010. According to the information, this roadmap was presented to T-Mobile in a global meeting in Vienna back in October 2009.
And since it was presented to T-Mobile "only", it's not yet clear how much it reflects HTC's upcoming GSM/UMTS roadmap but it's clear that it doesn't reflects HTC's North American CDMA roadmap. Quite noticeable is the fact, that HTC introduces device-categories - other than just Professional and Standard or Windows Mobile or Android but HTC's new categories are: Design, Performance, Social and Productivity.

And while the Design, Performance and Social categories are exclusively reserved for the Android smartphones bellow, Productivity is reserved for Windows Mobile phones.

Design and Lifestyle Category: HTC Legend and HTC Salsa

Available in March 2010.

Available in June 2010.

Social Category: HTC Tide and HTC Buzz

Available in April 2010.

Available in May 2010.

Performance Category: HTC Bravo

Available in April 2010.

That's quite an interesting mix of Android smartphones. While the HTC Legend seems to be the HTC Hero follower, the HTC Buzz could be the spec-improved HTC Tattoo follower. Interesting for Android smartphones are the HTC Salsa and the HTC Tide because both feature front-facing hardware keyboard in addition to the touchscreen. Last but not least it looks like the HTC Bravo is becoming HTC's next hero device, being a kind of HTC HD2 but running Android.

Cheers ~ Arne
