In
addition to
HTCs expected Android roadmap for the 1st half of 2010, in the
global meeting in Vienna, HTC also presented its Windows Mobile Windows phone
roadmap to T-Mobile.
And like the Android roadmap, it's not yet clear how much the Windows Mobile
presentation reflects HTC's upcoming GSM/UMTS roadmap but again it's clear that
this can't reflect HTC's North American CDMA roadmap of Windows phones. In any
case, while HTC seems to assign its upcoming Android smartphones to the Design, Performance and Social categories,
Windows Mobile smartphones are assigned to the Productivity category only.
Productivity: Photon, Trophy and Tera

Available in April 2010.

Available in May 2010.

Availability not yet given.
The HTC Photon (wasn't Photon the initial code-name for Windows Mobile 7?)
seems to be a kind of cheap
HTC HD2 or HTC Touch Diamond2 follower, featuring a quite similar/reduced
feature-set. Quite interesting is the HTC Trophy since - in addition to the
touchscreen - it sports a front-facing hardware keyboard. Quite obvious is the
fact that the Tera must be the follower of today's
HTC Touch Pro2. And while the
first two smartphones will feature a capacitive touchscreen, the Tera is said to
continue with a resistive touchscreen only.
Also noticeable is the fact that non of the devices above is said to run on
Windows Mobile 7 which somewhat confirms the rumors that Microsoft will not
release its next Windows Mobile operating system before 2nd half of 2010.
