One of HTC's Mobile World Congress phones, the HTC Ville, had a short presence on YouTube, earlier this afternoon but as expected, the video was taken down later. However, it indeed confirmed that it will look like the previously leaked rendering bellow. Since the video only showed the IMEI number of the prototype and phone number of the leaker, instead of technical information, the specs are still rumors. It's mostly confirmed, that the HTC Ville will come with Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC's own UI flavor of HTC Sense, which looked different to any other Sense versions we've seen before. Other specs like the 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, the 4.3" Super AMOLED qHD and the lack of NFC are still rumors.
However, according to the video, it's confirmed that the expected 8 megapixel camera will have a flash LED and Beats Audio showed up briefly in the menu. Furthermore it's confirmed that the HTC Ville will come with real touch sensitive menu keys instead of the Galaxy Nexus' virtual menu keys which is up to the manufacturer. However, as expected there's no dedicated menu anymore because Google has axed it.
It's expected that HTC will announce the HTC Ville at next month's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
