Always well informed @evleaks has posted another device rendering of a yet unannounced HTC smartphone which is said to be the "HTC Zara" (code-name). According to @evleaks, the Zara will run on Android 4.3 with the yet neither announced nor released and therefore upcoming HTC Sense 5.5 UI. Furthermore, Zara is said to feature a Qualcomm MSM8930 dual-core CPU at 1.2 GHz, a 4.5" qHD touchscreen, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB flash memory, which can be expanded with microSD memory cards, a 8 megapixel (and therefore not so UltraPixel) main camera and a 2100 mAh battery. While the Zara seems to sport some design-aspects of the HTC One, like the front facing dual-speakers, it's questionable if it will come with BoomSound stereo speakers.
However, like the HTC One and the HTC One mini, the Zara seems to also come with HTC's unique button layout.
According to @evleaks, a release can be expected for Q4-2013 and if you wonder who "@urbanstrata" is, ignore it. @evleaks trolled Jeff Gordon, an HTC employee, who had recently a dispute with @evleaks about the publishing of the HTC One Max rendering.
Cheers ~ Arne
