LEAK: Vodafone UK unveils 2008 Windows Mobile Standard Smartphones from Palm and HP

Looks like somebody at Vodafone UK lost a CD ROM with its smartphone roadmap. At least that's what The Boy Genius Report got - the complete Vodafone UK Windows Mobile 6 Standard roadmap with many interesting and so far unknown devices from Palm and HP. Namely the Palm Wanda which will be the follower to the Palm Treo 500v (a Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard smartphone with QWERTY keyboard) and the HP Silver (a Windows Mobile 6 Standard smartphone with SureType keyboard) - see full specs bellow (click to enlarge):

Not bad at all and the Palm Wanda could become what the Treo 500 had to be already - HSDPA enabled with GPS support. The HP Silver seems to follow the not yet available new line of iPAQ devices which were mostly Professional devices. Another interesting device. Expect both devices later this summer.

Cheers ~ Arne
