It seems as Mitac is working on a follower of its first Microsoft based clamshell Smartphone.
On MoDaCo "wu_yang" has posted now the first comparison picture of the "old" 8380 and the new 8390. According to "wu_yang" the Mio 8390 should come along with a "30M pixels camera and smartphone 2003" and should "be released on September":

Above you see on the left the current Mio 8380 and right the new, smaller Mio 8390.

Cheers ~ Arne

30M pixels?  in chinese, there is a 10,000 unit called "maahn" in cantonese, or "wan" in mandarin.

And as VGA is 307,000 pixels, this camera could just be 640x480, rather than 30 mega pixels :-0
