Inventop recently announced ProximityMail 1.43, the only Bluetooth peer-to-peer messaging application for Pocket PCs. The new release includes great improvements in the discovery process, as well as the possibility to scan devices around you at any time.

It's like Instant Messenger (IM) for your PDA, but it's not for your BuddyList, it's for making new buddies.
It's like SMS, but it's not for your phone, it's for your PDA and you don't need your friend's phone number – it isn't point-to-point. Get the point?
It's like email, but it doesn't require an ISP connection - it's local, instant, and free! And you don't need the other person's address.
It's like Internet news/discussion groups, except it is not on the Internet and you can meet your "threads" in moments (but only if you want to!)

  • Supported Pocket PCs with built-in Bluetooth: HP iPAQs
  • Supported compact flash cards: Socket Communications, BrainBoxes

ProximityMail is currently available as a FREE download. If you enjoy using ProximityMail, you can share it with your friends. However, a US$ 5.00 via PayPal is always welcome! ;-)

Cheers ~ Arne
