MOBILITY: Mitsubishi to release a real pocket video projector

Mitsubishi's lately announced Pocket LED DLP Projector is something for the road-warrior ! It offers a native SVGA (800x600) resolution with approximately 250 LUX and weighs just under a pound so it might be the perfect "accessory" for your Pocket PC due to its unbeatable convenience through extreme portability in both size and weight. In addition it can even be battery operated!

Now I'm missing the W-LAN support to even leave your cables at home but hey, it's the first of its kind!

I like the ideas of "suggested applications": Camping video; Mobile video in cars, trucks or vans. Mobile video in cars!? ;-) But yes, I see a use with Pocket PCs like the HTC Universal and other Pocket PCs (like the Xda II and the additional backpack which includes video output).

Announced availability is September 2005 at an expected price of 800 US$.

Cheers ~ Arne
