As expected, Adobe has yesterday evening released its Flash Player 10.2 for Android devices which brings the full web experience for videos, games, apps and more to a supported Android device near you. Like on a PC, Flash Player on a mobile device provides the freedom to access the same rich web content as well as uncompromised browsing without "empty boxes" on web pages. Unlike Flash Player 10.1 which was a Beta all the time, Adobe Flash Player 10.2 is said to be a finished production quality release for Android 2.2/Froyo and Android 2.3/Gingerbread devices but again just a Beta release for Google's brand new Android 3.0/Honeycomb OS.
Adobe Flash 10.2 is now available as a free download from the Google Android Market. As mentioned above, it requires Android 2.2 or higher.
Cheers ~ Arne
