Now you can also upload videos directly from your phone or PDA to YouTube. All you need is a mobile device that can take video and send MMS messages and an Internet access or data plan from your service provider. YouTube currently support uploads from Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon only (not sure about international support).

Founded in February 2005, YouTube is a consumer media company and one of the fastest growing websites for people to watch and share original videos worldwide through a Web experience.

Everyone can watch videos on YouTube - both on and across the Internet. People can see first-hand accounts of current events, find videos about their hobbies and interests and discover the quirky and unusual. As more people capture special moments on video, YouTube is empowering them to become the broadcasters of tomorrow.

YouTube is a place for people to engage in new ways with video by sharing, commenting on and viewing videos. YouTube originally started as a personal video sharing service and has grown into an entertainment destination with people watching more than 40 million videos on the site daily.

To get started, create an account if you don't already have one. Once you're logged in, you'll create a mobile profile to set up the default information for your videos and then the system will generate the E-Mail address where you should send them. This address will be unique to you and your profile and you can even have up to two profiles.

Cheers ~ Arne
