After the short video demo we had yesterday, this morning I had some more quality time to get my hands on a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, Sony Ericsson's brand new and much anticipated Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone. You've seen the specs already, so it's time for a first hand experience. The XPERIA X1 feels good and even if it was a prototype only, it's feeling rocking solid. The opened device is well balanced to hold it and use the keyboard and the keyboard size seems to be good enough to even type some longer E-Mails.
As of today, it looks like, Sony Ericsson isn't using the kind of frameless "bio touch" display as HTC uses for its Touch devices but this screen reminds more on a classic Windows Mobile touchscreen as we had it before with the HP iPAQs but now, let us have a look:

If you have any further questions, please feel free. I will try to follow-up with the answers as soon as I can but please keep in mind, I don't have one yet.

Cheers ~ Arne
