Neither mentioned nor featured on today's Samsung press conference, Samsung also officially unveiled the previously seen Samsung SGH-i200 today. Being an entry-level smartphone (that's what an Samsung spokesman told me) the i200 features Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as singleband UMTS/HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. Because of its target group, WiFi is left, unfortunately. The non-touchscreen measures 2.3" and supports QVGA and the CMOS main camera on the back supports 2.0 megapixel:

The keypad is a traditional 12-keys phonepad rather than a QWERTY keyboard as used for the SGH-i600 and BlackJack II. The device measures 116.7 x 50.8 x 11.8 mm and according to Samsung, it should be available anytime in the first half of 2008. A price wasn't given today but it was mentioned, that it will be priced competitive.

Cheers ~ Arne
