During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, LG Electronics introduced the new LG GM730 which features LG's new S-Class UI; a user interface which is now used with all LG mobile phones, doesn't matter if it runs LG's own propriety OS or Windows Mobile as the GM730 does.  According to LG, the combination of Windows Mobile and LG's new 3D S-Class User Interface will make "the LG-GM730 the most functional and easiest to use smartphone ever created". Built-around a 3D cube layout, S-Class User Interface provides four customizable home screens. The simple flick of a finger instantly turns the cube from one side to the next. S-Class User Interface eliminates nested menus wherever possible, providing more direct access to features and applications.

Even setup for E-Mail is said to be simplified, requiring just one click. Last but not least the LG GM730 will be shipped with Internet Explorer Mobile 6.0 instead of Opera Mobile 9.5.

Cheers ~ Arne
