MeetingMute was developed right after the release of Pocket PC 2002 as a work around for Pocket PC 2002's lack of support for repeating alarms. It has then come a long way, from the Beta Version which I had the opportunity to test to what it is right now.

MeetingMute by PocketConcepts is a full fledged Alarm management utility that not only adds support for repeating alarms for Pocket PC 2002 devices, but increases the options available to the user by including features far more advanced than the built-in Alarms settings of any Pocket PC device for that matter.

  • MeetingMute is an innovative utility for muting sounds on a Pocket PC. Although Pocket PC provides a method of muting sounds, it does not provide a method of automatically restoring the volume. MeetingMute provides functionality to automatically restore the system volume after a specified period of time.
  • Pocket Outlook integration for automated unattended muting of meetings.
  • Passive Interface Design allows you to use your Pocket PC as if MeetingMute weren't even there, yet have confidence that sounds will only be muted when appropriate.
  • Sound Protection. MeetingMute can correct some sound issues caused by other programs.
  • Mute for a single Pocket PC session.
  • Mute for a specific number of minutes or until a given time.
  • Extend the mute interval automatically while you are using your Pocket PC.

MeetingMute is available for Pocket PC 2000, Pocket PC 2002, and Windows Mobile 2003 devices. Downloadable from the PocketConcepts download page and can be purchased for $8.95. MeetingMute is a shareware product which can be evaluated for 30 days.
