Hei folks, as you saw on the previous posting - I'm back from my trip to Oslo and hell, we had sun like on Ibiza. Fortunately I had enough T-Shirts with me, while you normally doesn't need T-Shirts in Oslo!
I had a great weekend on the Oslo Fjord, with my friends from Norway and Oslo in the summer is so beautiful. You have sun until 9 something and the sky is lightened until 11 something, it's really great.
A great experience was the GPRS roaming with telenor mobil (formerly one shareholder of VIAG Interkom/O2 Germany) even if not O2 - DE nor Telenor knew (at least not the Hotlines) that GRX is in place but it worked great. I was able to use it with the same settings as I used to use in Germany. So I had access to my E-Mails and the Web, unfortunately Norway isn't covered by TomTom's Maps-on-Line (see my review here) so I wasn't able to use it within Oslo. :-( That's a pity...
A real kick for me was the new Telenor HQ in Fornebu, a little bit outside of Oslo. I've seen a lot of HQ in the past but this one is for sure the finest one. It's built in the typical Scandinavian design and includes everything you need to work in, including a Gym area (anyone from telenor mobil wants to hire me? ;-) It's the new home for all Telenor employees, doesn't matter if fixed, mobile, Internet or satellite and I was really amazed from it.
Okay guys, so as I'm back on duty you can expect some more contents, this week on PPCW.Net.
I will have several reviews: from the HP Jornada 928 WDA (I hope as I have to exchange it because of the software version it uses), the Pocket Loox which should arrive tomorrow or the day after from Fujitsu Siemens (thanks to them for supporting me here), a complete Action Engine review (I've had a one hour telephone discussion with Craig Eisler, CEO Action Engine, one week ago and several more.
Cheers ~ Arne
