OFF-TOPIC: Sometimes you have good reasons to be proud of your Family

You might have noticed that I haven't posted anything since yesterday (except comments) but the reason for this is pretty easy: there is a time where everything else is more important than postings news, views and tutorials. It's the time where someone of your family is in the focus, not gadgets and technologies and this time it's my Mom.
Yesterday evening she received the "Bundesverdienstkreuz am Bande/Federal Cross of Merit" from the Federal President of Germany (not in person but he is the one who has to agree), the highest medal a civilian German can receive from the Federal Republic of Germany! :-D So you might be able to see that I'm more than proud of this honor!

My Mom got the medal for more than 25 years of honorary work in the social and political environment.

Again: "Congratulations Mom! I'm really proud of you".

So I drove to my home town near Frankfurt where the whole Family cam together to celebrate this special event. Because I'm at home now, I've also decided to take some days off from working on PPCW.Net (don't worry, I'm still connected to my E-Mails and still working on the PPCW.Net i-Mate orders) and to meet my old friends for an "Äpplewoi" (Hessian Cider) or two.
I hope Carlo will keep you updated during the next few days.

Cheers ~ Arne
