Now that's interesting! If you have read the previous announcement from Motorola Q Pro, you might have noticed, that Motorola talks about document editing capabilities.
Looks like Motorola added DataViz's Documents To Go - which was available so far for a broad range of platforms but not for Windows Mobile devices.
While Pocket PCs have Offices viewers and editors built-in as (better known as Word Mobile, Excel Mobile and PowerPoint Mobile), Smartphone users left alone because the standard platform is even not including viewers.
Now it seems that DataViz is porting their - from other platforms - well known Documents To Go to the Windows Mobile Smartphone platform as well to support Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF files on your Motorola Q, Samsung BlackJack, T-Mobile Dash and other Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphones.

Documents To Go is the first and only mobile Office editor for Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone on the market today. Now you can view, edit and even create Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files as well as viewing Adobe PDF files and in addition, you can even unzip files on your Smartphone, for instance received E-Mail attachments.

Documents To Go is a powerful word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, PDF and decompression application all in one complete package, designed to help you get your work done anytime, anywhere.
Your original desktop documents will never lose formatting when you make edits on your Smartphone using DataViz's InTact Technology.

Easy to use - Documents To Go has the familiar look and feel of the programs you have on your desktop:

The final version of Documents To Go isn't released yet but oming soon. Nevertheless, DataViz has released a fully functional preview/Beta which can be downloaded. A final price wasn't announced yet.

Cheers ~ Arne
