Verizon Wireless and HTC today announced its latest Android flagship smartphone - the "Droid Incredible by HTC". Featuring a - so called - "topographic" design, the Droid Incredible by HTC features the newest version of the HTC Sense experience, a seven-panel home screen with a wide selection of interactive widgets so the most important content is immediately available at a touch. Running Android 2.1, the Droid Incredible is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and features CDMA, WiFi b/g, GPS, a proximity and light sensor as well as a digital compass, a 3.7" WVGA (480 x 800) AMOLED capacitive touchscreen as well as a 8 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash.

Droid Incredible customers will enjoy seamless integration with Exchange ActiveSync, quick and easy access to Flickr for sharing and viewing pictures, video, and Android Market with more than 30,000 Google applications. And shortly after the phone becomes available, customers will be able to enjoy two of the latest exclusive apps from Verizon Wireless - NFL Mobile and Skype mobile.

Droid Incredible will be in Verizon Wireless stores on April 29 and will retail at US$ 199.99 after a US$ 100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Cheers ~ Arne
