While Microsoft is currently busy with its preparations to launch Windows 8, we shouldn't forget that something more important is also in development - Windows Phone 8. And while Microsoft hasn't spilled too many beans yet nor have any confidential roadmaps left the Redmond campus, it seems that Microsoft believes that it's finally time to give developers some more information in advance. Yesterday, Microsoft has sent invitations for a session at its Windows Phone summit, where it is said that the development team will give "a sneak peek of the future of Windows Phone". Hopefully, this gives us some further information what we can expect with Windows Phone 8 which is code-named Apollo.

On the other hand, this can be everything from developing stuff to UI and UX to the overall ecosystem.

Cheers ~ Arne
