The second device, Giga-Byte Communications previewed during the 3GSM World Congress is the G-Smart q60, a UMTS/HSDPA Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone.
Featuring singleband UMTS/HSDPA and triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as a thumb keyboard, this messaging device is mostly addressing the business market, especially because it also includes a GPS receiver. However, it's XScale CPU with 520 MHz is even strong enough to support the devices inbuilt Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi b/g but it also includes support for digital TV as well as digital DAB radio.
Last but not least, it's sporting a 2.1 megapixel camera on the back and a VGA camera on the front for video telephony over UMTS:

Availability isn't announced yet but we might see to be released during this summer as well. First roll-out can be expected in Taiwan, followed by Europe.

Cheers ~ Arne

What the heck does "but it also includes support for digital TV as well as digital DAB radio" actually mean???

Does it come with a tv- tuner built in, or does it not? It seems very strange that they are so clearly specifying what formats are supported by t600, but say nothing abt the q60?

I am doubtful, and probably it's either GPS OR some sort of TV- support?

But I'm hoping I'm wrong... any additional info would be appreciated!

Thx

Another question - is it the q60, or the q600?

Oh, I'm sorry! It's indeed the q60!
