IA Style, Inc has just released the Beta version of IA Caller ID for Pocket PC Phone Edition. This application allows photos to be assigned to any individual entry stored in your Pocket PC's Contacts, or phonebook entry on the SIM card. The photo will then be displayed when a call is received from that person/number.

Caller ID also allows the main view to be filtered to show only entries in certain categories. Caller ID also allows the user to create new Contact entries, edit existing entries, and delete entries. Groups can be created, renamed, assigned.

In Detailed view, all phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and web page information for the selected Contact will be displayed along with the assigned Photo ID. Tap a phone number to dial it directly. Or tap an e-mail address to send e-mail, or tap a URL to go to that web page.

Caller ID supports JPEG, BMP, still GIF, or animated GIF files as individual or group Photo IDs. The position can be chosen as where to locate the caller's photo in the incoming call screen. The display of the photo can be resized as suited by choosing one of the optimized sizes.

IA Style is also looking for beta testers to try out Caller ID for the Pocket PC Phone Edition. Those interested can go to the IA Style website to download the beta version of the product which is curretly at v0.90
