The much awaited h2200 range of iPAQ Pocket PCs has just been granted approval by the FCC. The new iPAQ h2200 will be manufactured by HTC(High Tech Computer) Corp. It will come with CF and SD/MMC slots and have SDIO support. It will sport either a 200MHz or a 400Mz X-Scale processor and a Transflective TFT screen with a .24-dot pitch and 64K color support. Certain models will also come with a consumer grade IR port and the Nevo remote control software. It will have a 3.5mm stereo headphone and microphone jack. It will be powered by a removable 900MAh Li-Ion battery and will have an internal back up battery.

Available data shows that it has dimensions closely resembling that of the h1910; L x W x H in/mm 4.5/114.3 x 2.75/69.8 x .63/16. It weighs in at 155.6g or 5.49oz.

Exact details are still sketchy at the moment but available information point towards certain models having a ROM of 32MB or more and RAM of 64MB or more.
