Air France is the first airline which allows mobile phone use on some
specially equipped aircrafts and while Air France allows the use of mobile
phones now for SMS, MMS, E-Mail only, within the next months, the airline will
also allow phone calls during flights.
I've seen some interesting comments about this topic from "no way, don't even
think about allowing it" to "many U.S. carriers have on-seat phones for years
and it's rarely used only anyway". So the question is what do you think?
I can tell you that I've used VoIP with Lufthansa's Connexion by Boeing once and
well, my seat neighbor wasn't avid at all.
Which kind of Mobile Phone use should be allowed on Flights?
