Did you know you can replace your PDA battery? Many handhelds use the regular AA batteries but many more use proprietary batteries. Among these are popular brands such as: Compaq iPAQ, HP Jornada, Sony Clie, and a few Palm Pilots.
Manufacturers make a secret of the fact that the battery can be replaced. But batteries for these models are not easy to find. Laptops for Less is introducing kits for replacing these batteries, complete with tools and installation instructions (you can see animated instructions online).

Now you can replace the battery for your Compaq iPAQ, HP Jornada, Sony Clie or Palm Pilot PDA's. Laptops for Less is currently working on expanding its line of products to offer battery replacements for all popular models on the market.

You can see the catalog at our homepage. The company is located in Anaheim CA and can also be reached at 800-556-4490.

I need to stay online longer without having to recharge my iPaq 3660. Is it impossible to use higher capacity battery for my iPaq, so at least it could last up to 15 hours with backlight turned off?
