PPCW.NET: Integration of mobile channels - shame on me! :-(

What a shame, but with the move to the new server, I completely forgot to redesign the mobile channels of PPCW.Net. Not the design only was wrong but also the whole PHP stuff... :-( Buh...
Anyway, now everything is done and you can enjoy PPCW.Net on your Pocket PC again! :-)

For the direct access, maybe you want to add the site in your mobile Favorites, PPCW.Net Mobile has a new, easy to remember URL: However, also the redirect from still works. This redirect verifies your Browser and if this is a Pocket PC Internet Explorer, you will be automatically redirected to the Mobile Edition.

If you access PPCW.Net through Mazingo, nothing changed for you as the necessary URL changes was done by me on the server side at Mazingo. Just sync your Mazingo channels and from the next time you will have the new one on your Pocket PC.

You don't know what Mazingo is? Than check out its FAQ.

The name "Mazingo" comes from the concept of "magazines to go" - using this incredible software, you subscribe to free and premium "channels", and your Pocket PC is updated whenever you synchronize. It's a great way to stay entertained and informed!
Using Mazingo is easy - once you synchronize, just open Mazingo on the Pocket PC, and navigate your channels just like you browse the Web. Each page has links for you to tap - some links will open videos, audio, or even photo galleries. It's useful and fun!

For PPCW.Net two different channels are available:

  • PPCW.Net - Full including all images from the Web Edition, but requires more space on your Pocket PC.
  • PPCW.Net - Lite including the same stories as above but without any image, expect on the front page.

Lite is faster to synchronize and load on your device, Full is more fun.

To add PPCW.Net to your existing Mazingo account, just click one link above. To create a new, free Mazingo account just click here.

BTW: Originaly Mazingo was designed for Pocket PCs. However, now Mazingo is also available for the Casio BE 300 and previous Windows CE H/PCs.

Enjoy PPCW.Net on your Pocket PC and if you have any ideas, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Cheers ~ Arne

@Bryce: Yes, RSS is available from
but the question is what to do with it? Does anyone here wants to use my newsfeeds on your own site? If so - feel free but please inform me.
Cheers ~ Arne
