IA Style just informed me, that they moved the closed user group Beta testing of IA Caller ID to a public Beta now:

We now have a new Beta version of IA Caller ID (0.92) available, and this version is available for the general public to download and test. It is a fully-functional Trial version which will expire in 15 days. We are looking for volunteers to test it. If you have tested the previous beta, please first uninstall the previous beta and clean up the working environment, as mentioned in Installing and Uninstalling.

IA Caller ID is a Microsoft Smartphone 2002 application that allows you to assign photos to the entries in your Contacts. Then when a person calls you (for whom you have previously assigned a photo in Contacts), that photo will appear on your Smartphone’s incoming call screen. Use the rich set of features to get the photos displayed with the size, position, and animated ID template you want.
IA Caller ID makes using your Smartphone more fun and practical than ever before! But this is just the beginning. You can even perform the complete maintenance of the Contacts in your Smartphone right from within IA Caller ID.

Cheers ~ Arne

Looks nice and I got it working after I've tried twice.

However too much features like editing Contacts I do on my desktop anyhow. I deinstalled it and reinstalled caller to picture, worked more robust for me and does it job - showing pictures!
