HTC definitely loves special editions, doesn't matter if they are 24-carat Gold or designed by some of the world's most recognized fashion designers. And do you remember the HTC One mini by David Koma, who is one of the rising stars of British fashion? For the recent London Fashion Week, HTC and Koma joint forces and the British designer created an exclusive special edition of the HTC One mini. This limited run of 10 handsets features two different unique artworks from the designer, which was created to celebrate HTC's "change" concept. One of the unique abstract designs was inspired by David Koma's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, while the other gave a flavor of what was to come in the Spring/Summer 2014 show.
The designer handsets have never made it to any stores but they were given away in a competition where David Koma and his team selected the 10 best user designs, fans of HTC were able to send in via Twitter. However, today we had the chance to get our hands on one of the handsets which features David Koma's current Spring/Summer 2014 design.
Each special edition HTC One mini features one of the two exclusive designs, printed onto the phone's aluminum back panel. The phone itself is just what we know, the HTC One mini, which boasts award-winning features and the design of its counterpart, the HTC One.
Cheers ~ Arne
