its home market South Korea, Samsung has redesigned its latest best-seller
smartphone, the SGH-i900 Omnia, and is releasing it in Korea as the SCH-M490 T-Omnia.
However, the T-Omnia received more then just a different name but Samsung made
the good even better by replacing the Omnia's 3.2" 240 x 480 WQVGA screen with a
480 x 800 WVGA screen. Other feature updates include S-DMB (Satellite Digital
Media Broadcast) and a powerful Marvall Monahans PXA312 CPU at 806 MHz! Either
the same or quite similar to the original Omnia are features like Microsoft
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, 128MB of RAM / 256 MB ROM, support for
UMTS and HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps as well as the 5 megapixel autofocus main camera
and GPS. However, it seems WiFi support is left out.
The T-Omnia will be available 2 different memorie: one with is 4 GB and one
with 16 GB inbuilt memory as well as black or white color. The T-Omnia will be
available from 27. November, exclusively from SK Telecom
