In addition to the i-mate JAQ3, during the GITEX exhibition in Dubai, i-mate also announced the launch of the i-mate PDAL, another Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition from i-mate. The i-mate PDAL boasts GSM/GPRS/EDGE and WiFi b/g connectivity and Bluetooth 1.2 (with support for A2DB stereo) for excellent data download rates and a truly satisfying push E-Mail experience, that extends to attachments for opening and real-time working.
In addition, this stylish and compact device is one of the lightest PDA's in the marketplace has has a 2.5" color display and a five direction-control button. The PDAL has the option of portrait or landscape orientation so applications can be viewed to the user's preference. Presented in a sleek black and silver casing, with stylishly curved corners, the PDAL delivers a satisfying touch screen experience from its resilient and vibrant touch screen. Last but not least the PDAL boasts a 2 megapixel camera for photo and video recording.

As with the other i-mate devices in the portfolio, the PDAL deliver the benefits of Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC including Windows Mobile Direct Push E-Mail for instant access to E-Mails including attachments, MSN Mobile including Hotmail and MSN Messenger access, Microsoft Office Mobile, Windows Media Player Mobile 10 and Internet Explorer Mobile.

After the Jaq that's the second ugly PDA from imate! What's the point to release such ugly devices?
Ok, they lost HTC as their ODM but see O2, they also lost HTC but found better ODMs anyway. All the cheap new stuff from imate is just scrap!
