RELEASE: The T-Mobile MDA Vario II appears at T-Mobile Germany's Online Shop [UPDATE]

While T-Mobile was the first carrier who announced and showed the HTC Hermes back in March this year, it took a little bit longer for T-Mobile to get the device launch-ready. In the meantime, O2 German, HTC and Dopod has released their versions of the Hermes already.
Nevertheless, since this week, the T-Mobile MDA Vario II also appeared on T-Mobile Germany's web shop with an information, that the device will be available during August.
Interesting enough is the fact, that even if the device looks on the first sight like the O2 Xda trion, the button layout around the d-pad is slightly different from the O2 Xda trion. Therefore I'm not sure yet if this is a third ID (after O2's Xda trion Herm100 ID and HTC's TyTN Herm200 ID) or if it is just the Herm100 with a different button layout:

A price (with or without a contract) wasn't given yet. Also T-Mobile hasn't mentioned any releases in other countries yet but we can expect further releases at least in Austria and UK as well as - with a little bit luck - in the USA.

UPDATE: Today, T-Mobile Germany officially announced the release date for the MDA Vario II for the 14th August. From T-Mobile, it will retail for 359,95 Euro with a 24 month Relax 100 contract. A price without a subscription wasn't given yet.
Also T-Mobile has given two official press photos today and while you can see on the left one the slightly different button layout around the d-pad way better, the second one shows the red design parts of MDA Vario II:

Cheers ~ Arne
