RELEASE: Windows Mobile Smartphone meets Cash-and-Carry

German cash-and-carry supermarket "real,-" today previewed their offer for next week and what can we see under the electronic category? Yes, it's the Sagem myS-7 Windows Mobile 2003 SE Smartphone, re-branded as Medion Smartphone.

Between 20.12. and 25.12.2004 the Sagem myS-7 is available for 499,00 Euro and will also include "Navigon's (re-branded?) navigation software" for Smartphone.

In addition, the "5-in-1 Mobile Phone" includes a serial GPS receiver plus car charger and passive car kit.

Not a bad offer at all and even if the Sagem mys-7 runs Widows Mobile 2003, it excludes Bluetooth support. But if you don't need Bluetooth at all, this is a fair offer.

BTW: I should mention that some weeks ago, real,- already had another Smartphone in stock - the Motorola MPx200. Seems the real,- electronic department product manager is a Windows Mobile fan? ;-) Before real,- also offered several Median Pocket PCs with GPS navigation included.
