smartphone, the O2 Xda comet, shows its face at O2 Germany's online shop.
Unveiled earlier this month and
photo-viewed by the::unwired already, the O2 Xda comet is the German version
of O2 Asia's Xda Atom Life and like the Atom Life, the Xda comet features
Windows Mobile 6 Professional and a super-fast Marvell XScale PXA 270 CPU at 624
MHz as well as featuring amazing 1 GB ROM and 64 MB RAM. The Xda comet also
supports triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz and dualband UMTS/HSDPA at
1900/2100 MHz with support of HSDPA phase 2 up to 3.6 Mbps:

With a 24 months contract, the Xda comet is available from end of September
from 299.99 Euro to 149.99 Euro (depending on the tariff). Without a contract,
the SIM free and unlocked devices will retail for 549.99 Euro. As always, please
keep in mind that the operating system is German and not changeable.
