Vodafone Germany released its latest Windows Mobile Smartphone - the VDA IV. Made by AsusTek, it's the Vodafone brother of the O2 Graphite, supporting UMTS and triband GSM/GPRS. It measures 108x18x47 mm at a weight of 120 g. Powered by an Intel XScale CPU at 312 MHz and Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone, Vodafone gives a talk-time of up to 4 hours and a stand-by time of 180 hours.
Most interesting might be the fact, that even if the VDA IV is a UMTS phone, it doesn't have a single camera. Neither one for photos and video recordings, nor a front facing camera for video telephony since this phone is addressing the business market:

The VDA IV is available from now from Vodafone Germany. Prices, with a 24 months contract, starts from 49,50 Euro. Without a contract, the VDA IV costs 299,50 Euro.

Cheers ~ Arne
