RENAMED: HTC Universal - the T-Mobile UMTS Pocket PC formerly known as T-Mobile MDA IV

When T-Mobile Germany announced the HTC Universal the first time, back in February, they've announced it as the "MDA IV" which makes sense, if you follow the naming scheme T-Mobile used so far (MDA, MDA II, MDA III) and which they have taken from O2 (who named its devices Xda, Xda II, Xda IIII and XDA IIi).

However, both - T-Mobile and O2 have added a name to the naming scheme with the HTC Magician introduction (MDA compact and Xda mini) and it seems T-Mobile is following this rule with the HTC Universal again which is called MDA Pro now:

Now I wonder how Vodafone will name their Universal version since they have also have announced it as VPA IV before, unlike Orange who always spoke about the SPV 3G.

BTW: I still miss an official word from O2. :?

Cheers ~ Arne
