According to the Dutch Orange page, Orange is ready to release the SPV M500 soon which is better known as HTC Magician aka i-mate JAM/O2 Xda II mini.

Not that much information there yet, no price nor an announcements about availability but the interesting detail is the picture: Orange will carry the "male" version of the Magician (in stylish O2 Xda III/IIs anthracite):

I have recently seen it in reality and it doesn't looks that bad, even if I prefer the female version over the male version. Nevertheless, the anthracite looks pretty good!

Seems after the Xda II became everybody's darling, followed by the Xda III/IIs, now the Xda mini is the next one! But it is a beatiful Pocket PC, indeed - if only it would have more RAM and Wi-Fi... But I wonder anyway which Pocket PC Phone Edition will satisfies me 100 %?

Cheers ~ Arne

RAM can be upgraded at PPCTECHS. I have 128Mb internal in my JAM now and that rocks! For me the RAM is more important that WIFI, since RAM doesn't come as an SD card, only additional storage does, but is soooo much slower. By comparison, occasionally having to put in an SD WIFI card is only a minor nuisance. I am very happy for the moment ...
