Following my earlier review of the Pocket PC Techs Lil' Sync Penguin Charger, now I want to follow-up with a review of some accessories you can use with Pocket PC Techs' handy charger, to make the traveling experience an even better one.
While the Lil' Sync Penguin Charger is just a charger, Pocket PC Techs has some fine accessories in program which can be used with its charger. This includes the Lil Sync Airline Power Adapter as well as the Lil' Sync Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable and the Lil' Sync Pro Duo Mini-5 Adapter.

The Lil Sync Airline Power Adapter (which is best used with the Lil' Sync Penguin Charger but also works with any other car charger) can be used to charge your mobile device from the 12V EmPower Airline Power port available on many airlines. EmPower is still the most widely installed in-seat power system in the skies today. Over 125,000 seats on 40 airlines feature this type of port. EmPower features 15V DC power at up to 75 watts per outlet and if you want to plug in your device, you'll need an adapter that is compatible with EmPower.

The Lil Sync Airline Power Adapter is attached to the Lil' Sync Penguin Charger on one side and connected to the EmPower port on the other side:

With the Lil Sync Airline Power Adapter you can continuously use you mobile device during your flight as well, for instance to watch your latest TV recordings, DVDs or just to listen some of your own music. Unfortunately, the EmPower Airline port is mostly available in the Business and First Class. To check if your preferred airline supports the EmPower system, I recommend to visit SeatGuru! next time you plan a flight.

Now, after you found the right charger and connector, you have to connect your charger with your mobile device. While most of the original sync cables also charge the mobile device through the USB port, it can becomes handy to save some additional space by replacing the original USB cable with Pocket PC Techs' Lil' Sync Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable which is perfect for anyone on the go. At less than 7 inches (17.8 cm) long when retracted, our cables conveniently extends up to 50 inches (127 cm). The new, USB 2.0 compatible,  Lil' Sync Pro weighs only a couple of grams and connected to a compatible charger, it acts as a bridge between the charger and your mobile device:

However, since it is fully USB 2.0 compatible, it also syncs and charges your unit simultaneously, if connected to your PC or Notebook.

Beside the stand-alone Lil' Sync Pro Cable, Pocket PC Techs also offers a Lil' Sync Pro Cable/DUO Adapter bundle which includes an additional Y-kind of cable which lets you "fast charge" your device, when plugged into a AC/DC source. Additionally, a second USB port is tailed onto the adapter which allows you to conveniently charge a second accessory, such as a headset or Bluetooth GPS receiver simultaneously from any AC/DC USB power source:

Pocket PC Techs offers different Duo Adapters to support a wide range of devices, including a Motorola and a Jabra Duo Adapter.

Final Conclusion

All the accessories above are a clever addition to get even more out of your Lil' Sync Penguin Charger. While I'm not flying too often with airlines which offers in-seat power in the Economy Class (next time I better use SeatGuru! as well), I know many of you do and therefore Lil Sync Airline Power Adapter definitely a great addition to keep your mobile device up and running. Otherwise, you might run out of battery with the result that you don't have the hotel address anymore as soon as you've arrived at your final destination (which happened once for me when I watched all my TV recordings on my Pocket PC some months ago).
The Lil Sync Airline Power Adapter costs US$ 14.99 only.

Retractable sync and charge cables aren't new anymore, we have them in the market for some years now but many of the cheap copies features USB 1.1 only. Not so the Lil' Sync Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable which supports USB 2.0 and therefore provides faster sync while charging the device the same time. Or you can use it stand-alone, with the Lil' Sync Penguin Charger only, to recharge your mobile device at home, in the office or while traveling.
The Lil' Sync Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable costs US$ 19.99.

Last but not least the Lil' Sync Pro Cable/DUO Adapter bundle which includes the Lil' Sync Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable as well as a second adapter. This comes definitely handy while traveling since you have to carry one charger only to charge two devices. This keeps your luggage light "without playing the DJ" to get all your devices charged.
Lil' Sync Pro Cable/DUO Adapter costs US$ 24.99.

All together, with the accessories above you can make your Lil' Sync Penguin Charger even more useful and a handy companion.

Cheers ~ Arne
