Vodafone UK, or better Paratus Communications (which assists Vodafone with its media/blogger relations), just let us know that Vodafone UK adds a couple of new Android phones to its list of soon to be released smartphones. "Vodafone UK's fantastic range of smartphones is just about to get even better with the arrival of the Android-based Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini and Samsung Galaxy S 16 GB". The new handsets join the likes of the HTC Desire, Google Nexus One and a host of other stunning smartphones on the UK's (best) network, giving customers a great range of options.

The Samsung Galaxy S 16GB will be available exclusively to Vodafone UK customers. The stunning, ultra responsive touchscreen device is the latest generation of Android smartphones built by Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy S 16GB sports a great 5 megapixel camera, capable of shooting videos in HD quality, allowing you to capture crystal clear moments and enjoy them on the huge 4" Super AMOLED touch screen display.

Powered by a superfast 1 GHz processor and teamed with an integrated Google Chrome browser, the handset allows for a smooth and seamless experience, which never slows down when you're surfing the web through multiple browser windows.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini is an ultra-compact touchscreen device, smaller than a credit card, which combines the great features of Android with Sony Ericsson's own user interface to create a great experience. The X10 Mini allows you to customize the phone to suit your needs, including the ability to choose the functions that are accessed through the four corners of the 2.55" screen, making it both quick and easy to use.

Sony Ericsson's Timescape makes it easy to keep in touch with your friends, by bringing your communications into one place so you can easily view text messages, missed calls, and Facebook and Twitter updates. And the phone's great for entertainment too, with the interactive music player using an “infinite button" to pull together content from the music store and YouTube - a smart way to search for new tracks from a favorite artist.

Vodafone UK has yet not announced availability of prices. It's also totally unknown of other Vodafone sister companies in Europe will also launch the Xperia X10 mini and Galaxy S.

Cheers ~ Arne
